I think this has already been posted, but I can't find the thread.

Can you make requests for seating when you make an ADR?
What I mean is, a request to sit by a window?

I just wondered if anyone has ever done this and if it's been honored?

TIA!

Nope.

On our very first trip, we had an ADR for Rose and Crown. Someone suggested that we go to the podium at opening (11am I think) to request an outside table. We did so and were told they do not take any kind of requests like that.

That's really the kind of little thing that if you worry about it could ruin your trip, IMHO. Don't sweat it.

I know, I won't let it ruin our trip-there's so much more to see and do and we are ESTATIC just to be going!!:goodvibes

I made the mistake of making an ADR next Sunday at LTT the same time as the Spectromagic Parade (re: my earlier thread) -when I made the ADR, it didn't occur to me that Spectromagic would be held so early-7pm! I'm not huge on regular parades, but I heard that Spectromagic is a light show parade and I do have a thing for light shows:)

Good news is Spectromagic apparently runs right by LTT around 7:15, but bad news is the porch is supposed to be mobbed with customers like me who want to catch a glimpse of the parade!

I called to try to change the ADR time, but they are booked solid, so I figured if we got a window seat, that would be perfect!

But, I guess if this is our only glitch (everything else seems to be flowing perfectly as far as planning-knock on wood!!!) than so be it! I did hear that we will be able to hear the music from inside and maybe we'll get up to take a peek somewhere in the restaurant.

**One more question regarding seating requests: I do want to try to get a table w/a TV at the 50's Prime Time. I was told that if you ask at check-in, they might grant it. Is it worth asking? I don't want to annoy a hostess by coming off as a pain or anything even though I am very polite!:goodvibes )

The only time I've ever asked for a "table-switch" was at Chef Mickey's.

Twice now, we've been seated in that little back area up the steps..and it was "ok". We could see MK, but, that's not why I go to eat at CM...I go for the fun atmosphere, which isn't really happening in the back.

When they led us back there a 3rd time, I asked if we could sit "anywhere but back here", & the cast member took us to the main dining area, no problem (at least it didn't appear to be a problem).

Here's how I would play it: " If the option comes up at the right time, we'd love a table with a TV." For your own info, its 50's b/w stuff, not the Disney Channel, and you can always seat the kids so they can see a nearby set. And I'm not sure, but I think the LTT windows are leaded, warpy windows that you can't really see through.

Good way to word it. DBF is in the restaurant business himself (not at WDW) and last thing I want to do is cause any trouble for the hostess or servers by making special requests.

Yeah, I know 50's PT is 50's shows, not Disney Channel. We don't have any kids, so I guess I am the kid here who wants the tv!:lmao: I just remember how much I loved the tv table when I went with my parents years and years ago and it's my favorite WDW restaurant.

Anyone else have any info on the LTT windows? I guess it's ok if I miss Spectro, but just a few minutes peek would be nice-I've never seen it before.

what time is your ADR? The parade is looooong, so you could probably step outside for a couple of minutes. It might be crowded, but you will be up on the steps.

Check out the pictures of LTT here on the DIS, you might can find a front pic.
