Hi I have a quick question I will be going to DL in Aug. with my two sons I am curious does anyone know off hand which rides we can sit 3 in a seat? I can't remember. Thanks.:goodvibes

That really depends on how big your sons are. Most of the "dark" rides in Fantasyland can fit three if they're small. Haunted Mansion can seat three easily. There are also rides that seat more than three in a car like BTMRR and Indiana Jones, etc.

Do you have specific rides that you're thinking about??

I think you are asking which rides seat three to determine who sits alone or with a stranger, right? I have been thinking about this too since we are going on a lot of rides with one child, altho a parent riding alone might be less scary than a kiddo riding in the seat all by their lonesome. BTMRR only seats two per seat. Usually the configuration for most rides is two, with the exception of multiple people rides/cars like Splash, POTC, and the Matterhorn, etc....

Do they make you sit by a stranger if you're sitting alone? I have a few rides I don't think my 6 year olds and I will fit on together, so I may have to let them ride together, and me sit alone. I won't be thrilled if I have to ride Mr.Toad with a stranger sitting beside me.:rotfl: .Will they let me ride alone on rides such as Dumbo, Mr.Toad, Toy Story Mania or will I be next to someone I don't know?:confused3

I really don't think they would seat a strange adult next to a child.

And for the others you mentioned, we just say that we are "2 and 1" for seating, and we're just given 2 rows for me, DH, and DS in whatever configuration we've decided on for that day and ride.

But as a single rider, I've been put next to adult strangers, such as on Screamin', and on Splash of course they put strangers in the same log if there's room. One BIG reason I'm glad for those single seat barrier things they have, rather than having "matterhorn" style seating with a stranger! :rotfl:

Oh, and I've loved being a "1" for Indy, I have the best time seeing how strangers react to Indy.

I was seated with an about 8 year old boy on screamin' from the single rider's line. But maybe your 6 year olds aren't like my DD7 who LOVES rollar coasters!!!

My DH is not a big ride person so myself and DS8 & DD9 ended going on most rides as a threesome. They ask how many in your party and if 3 of us did not sit together I always put the kids together and I sat alone. They never sat anyone else with me except on Mulholland Madness in CA park.
By the way BTMRR does fit 1 adult & 2 children quite comfortably (and myself and DD don't have little cabooses LOL)

they will never make you sit with a stranger on rides dumbo, toad, or anything along those lines. the only rides where you might get stuck are on some rides that have single rider lines like california screamin and mullholland madness, etc.

Other than the big thrill rides, if we have an odd number in the group we have never been seated with a stranger.

*Adventureland: Jungle Cruise, TikiRoom , Indy * NewOrlean Square: Pirates, Haunted Mansion *Critter Country: Pooh *Fantasyland-Casey Jr. , Storybook Boats ( But all the rides are in little cars , so your boys would be ok and near you. Beware of Snow White and Mr. Toad which can be intimidating.)

*Tomorrowland-Nemo, Star Tours *Main Street is no problem

Calif. Adventure- is much better put together and baby swap is needed much less. The big rides like TOT and Screamin' are here, but of course you will have good sense with these.
If I didn't list the ride it is because you will be seperated from your child during the ride. I hope this helps. Have fun!
