is it worth it to spend extra $ on tier 1 seating? called yesterday for trip in two weeks and was told they only had tier 1 seating.

I will be there in 2 weeks also and needed to add one to my original ADR for Hoop and was told that the only available seating was in tier 1. I dont know if it is worth the extra but I wanted to do Hoop so I booked and paid in advance since tier 1 is not available for my DDP. The only difference in the seating is that you are closer to the stage and the show otherwise it is all the same.

So good to know that Tier 1 seating was available! I am making ressies next week for HDDR and will be really bummed if I can't get tier 1 !

I didnt know there were different seatings?!? I went last year during free dining and no one said anything about tiers. We had awesome seats front and center too.

The people upstairs looked like they had a great view and the performers even wandered up there at different points so I wouldnt worry. Assuming downstairs is tier 1 and upstairs is 2.

suzy

1) Seating
. . . Tier-1: First Floor
. . . Tier-2: Half of seats Last Row of First Floor, Half of seats Balcony
. . . Tier-3: All balcony
2) In our opinion, it is always worth Tier-1.

How far in advance to you need to make reservations for Hoop? I've heard that it can book pretty fast. We are planning a trip in March and would like to do this. Haven't booked yet because we can't decide where to stay:confused3 and are waiting for 2008 rates.:surfweb:

Tiers started last year just after free dining. We're going this year and doing it on the free DDP and I'm a little sad about it; I love sitting near the stage. Definitely worth the money. I hate democracy! I swear I would be benevolent.

Well the standard to be safe answer is book at 180 days out :) You can always cancel if you need to. But with HDDR you do have to pay up front (or at least I did for Tier 1 seating)
