Curious how the seating configuration looks for a larger party at Garden Grill. It's been years since I've been, but I only remember the standard size booths. Do they have a larger booths or should we expect a table? Will we be split up? Thanks in advance!

When we have had a larger party at Garden Grill we have been sat all together at a table on the level above the booths.

as already stated you will ne seated at tables on the upper level. you will not be able to see Land ride from these tables

Last Friday we dined there as a party of 7. We were seated on the top level with a few tables pushed together. I imagine with 2 more they would just add in another table.

1) OK, here's the "411".
2) The first level has booths that contain two benches.
. . . each bench/table can seat 3 people comfortably.
. . . when needed, they put a "bridge" between the two table to make on LONG seating
. . . this allows a party of 6-7 to sit easily
. . . all lower benches/seats face outward, so everyone can see the boat ride below
3) For larger groups, the upper tier has tables and chairs, which can be moved together.
. . . move within reason
. . . the wait staff must still be able to walk through and around them for service
4) And, yes, it is possible to still have your party split among different tables . . . ALL reservations state this clearly.

Thanks for the replies. I was worried we wouldn't be able to see the Land. Will we have an obstructed view or no view at all? What size parties are seated at the tables that have clear views of the Land? We'd be willing to make two separate reservations and split up our party for a chance at having one of these tables.

I made two ressies for 5 instead of a table for ten. Some want to see the land, some don't care. But, we are easily capable of splitting up for one meal so we did it that way.

Were you seated near each other? Do the tables not facing the Land have any kind of view of the attraction or none at all?

Ressies are for early May. I ate there once many moons ago but it wasn't the same set up as it is now. I did all my ressies for this trip on MDE except for that one. I called in for it and the CM that set it up did note for them to try and put us close to each other but not guaranteed at all. I had actually tried to get a ressie for 10 but there were none available.

We were seated on the lower level in one of the booths with a clear view of The Land as a party of 5. I can't imagine more than that in one of those booths, though, 5 was pretty tight. (4 adult-size people, 1 kid-size)

I've been to GG with a party of 10 (6 adults, 4 girls) We sat on the top level. Worked out well as far as the characters - the 4 girls sat on the path side of the table so the characters were able to sign all the books, take loads of pictures and had great interaction.

As far as the view - sorry I'm no help with that one - the girls were more excited for the characters. Then after dinner we rode the ride.

I have done with 3 adults on lower level and it would have be crowded in the booth we were in if more than 4 and with a group of 11 we were not given a choice had to be upper level. plus if you wanted pictures with both groups/booths would be most likely impossible because of blocking traffic.

1) ALL tables have a great view of several "Living With The Land" boat scenes.
2) That is the major draw for Garden Grill.
3) And, they make certain the seats have a good view.

NOTE1: For a real treat, schedule a guided tour of The Land, Behind-The-Seeds-Tour before/after the meal. They talk about how they grow the food and how the food is developed. If available, ask for Erik to escort you. He is a Florida Univ Grad in agriculture and knows a lot about AG. Plus, he is a professional stunt man, and (when asked) can tell you stories about doing movie stunts (he was the "stunt double" for Bruce Willis in the "Die Hard" movies), stunts in the Dredd movies, stunts in Texas Chainsaw movies, stunts in Star Wars Rogue One, and Walking Dead.

NOTE2: The Lands tour is stated as 45-minutes, but we spent almost 90-minutes with Erik, as some of our other guests (who we did not know) were real farmers who asked LOTS of hydroponic questions, and others were interest in his stunt career.

NOTE3: I know his Stunt Company owner. His owner/partner for a long time held the record for the highest movie stunt fall. He is also a well know stunt coordinator. The company does major motion pictures and theme park stunts.
