Seating at 50s Prime Time question

I noticed in an above post that it mentioned asking for a kitchen area with a t.v. Of course, this is all that's ever shown in pictures, so I assumed every group was like this. If we don't get one of those tables, what is the rest of the restaurant like? Our ADRs are at 5:30, so hopefully it won't be fully crowded & we'll have a little more request room.

All the tables are like 'kitchen tables' ...formica top, chrome edge, circa 1950's in various rooms either kitchen set up of adjacent rooms. Our table was located in a front room, kind of 'outside' the house, in that we were on the exterior of the house windows - someone could lean out the window to chat with us like we were outside, which our CM did. Aunt Donna - she was great. TV's with 50's shows are located in evey room so you won't miss that no matter where you sit.

50's PT is almost always busy. You might want to peek in earlier in the day to see how it's layed out, arrive early for your ADR and try to request an area to your liking.

DH and i always get the first seating (either lunch or dinner) and request the kitchen counter "seating" - have never been denied!

I think we'll just sit wherever they put us & make the best of it! Sounds like it will be fun, no matter what!
