Hello!

I just made my disney dining reservations this am! :goodvibes We are a Grand Gathering. There are 8 girls going! I was told that at Cinderella's Royal Table (there are 7 of us going that night) we will be seated 4 at one table 3 at another table. I was told there is no guarantee we will be seated near each other.

Also for Teppan Edo I was told the same thing. Im totally understanding to the fact that because we are a big group for the most part we will not be able to all sit together all the time. My question is in your experiences how accomodating are the CMs at the hostess station in getting your whole party to be able to sit together.

I can understand completely not being able to sit together at CRT ...but at Teppan Edo (im pretty sure its 8 to a table so why wouldnt they be able to accomodate us there?

any tips or experiences would be great! im a little worried
thanks

I think its just the standard spiel however the hostesses at the restaurants are really good about making things work.

We have gone several times with groups of 7 to CRT and have always been seated together.

Also Teppan Edo should really be no problem at all.

We are a family of 7 and always when making the ADR's we are told it will 2 tables. We have even gone as a family of 9. At both of the resturaunts you mentioned we were seated at one table. Like pp said, the hostess's are really good about putting tables together for larger parties.

Have a great time!

Don't worry about it. I've done a lot of parties of eight or even more and have always been told about the no guarantee of being seated next ot each other. But since you made the reservation all at once, your reservation tables are linked in the system. It's just that Disney reserves their seatings based on table size, not by party size.

As a party of 9, we were told the same thing when making our ADRs. Yet we were always seated together at one large table everywhere we dined, including CRT. Teppanyaki sat 8 to a table yet not sure of the seating plan now that is has become Teppan Edo.

It must be the standard speech. I've always been told that, and we were always seated together. You may have to wait a little longer, but they will put tables together for you.
