Seat sales out of Vancouver?

Hi everyone, I've finally managed to narrow down my trip dates to 2 weeks end of June, and now I need airfare...

When do seat sales usually occur? I'm looking at Air Canada right now, 290 to Orlando and 480 back. A bit too steep, but if I don't have a choice I think I'll go with them. Westjet doesn't seem to have any seats for my selected departure date.

Flying out of Seattle isn't really an option as we'd have to take a train into the US, and the cost of train will end up being equivalent to flying out of Vancouver.

Thanks for your help!

I fly out of Seattle. We drive down the night before and leave car at the hotel.

Last Aug. one of my daughters couldn't leave when we did, so she joined us later. She took the bus to Seatac from YVR. It was pretty cheap.

I never thought to google 'shuttle from yvr to seatac" ... Thanks for the tip, looks like I will be flying jetblu :]

I think Jet Blue routes thru New York which could make for a long journey. Try Alaska Air. They are the only ones who do a non-stop (5+ hours) from SEA to Orlando, and sometime have good sales. Check often as their prices change frequently. Also check their fares from YVR (connecting in SEA) as sometimes they are not bad and would save the hassle of travel to SEA. Good Luck:thumbsup2

Thanks aristocat65 - I didn't pay attention to flight times initially! We;ve booked with Alaska, got some reasonably priced tickets and we're all set for our trip :goodvibes
