seat sales for March/April - when do they start

We're heading to WDW from Ottawa on March 29 for 8 days.

I was wondering if anyone knows from past experience when JetBlue (Syracuse-Orlando) or any Ottawa-Orlando seat sales may start?

I am flying out of halifax mar 11 for march break and easter flying back mar 25 for 149 each way. Cost me 1668 for four return tickets(non stop) then I had a 300 credit on westjet so really 1368 for four direct out of halifax. Great times too arrive at 9am and leave at 6pm so that gives us two extra days. the routes are to orlando fort lauderdale west palm etc. Good luck

Couple of points for the OP to consider...

First, WestJet is only showing their discount fares from YOW to MCO at the moment for dates between January 9th and March 5th. I expect the sale fares for end of March to May will be released after their "boxing week" so-called sale is completed. Last year, I recall this being in mid to late January.

Second - it's HIGHLY unlikely you will find a "sale" fare with WestJet from YOW to MCO (return) on any day outside of Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. This is due to the fact those days offer the direct flights (which are what go on sale), are low traffic days, and WJ needs to boost seat occupancy.

So, I would continue to watch the WestJet and A/C websites if you really want to fly out of YOW. If you want to peek around at the Syracuse option, I might suggest running a seach on http://www.kayak.com

Flying form Syracuse is your best bet, I was just looking from Syracuse on May 26th - June 2nd and got a deal of 796.00 for 4 people, you will never get that flying from Ottawa. You have to go directly on their site though jetblue.com

Check Westjet daily...seriously. We used it from Newfoundland to Orlando and the varation of prices for the same day and flight over a given number of days was crazy. You could check one morning, it was $350 per person each way, check that night it was $200, the next day $350 again. We ended up paying $180 plus taxes per person in the end, but check everyday twice a day for a few weeks anyway.
