It is amazing how things change. I never went to Disney World until I was 30. Now we've gone 5 times in the last 6 years. And now we're thinking of getting an annual pass.
We started out visiting during the Holidays, and we clearly love all the decorations at Christmas. But Halloween is now our favorite season because of F&W and MNSSHP. We're going to start and end our AP in October.
But if we get an AP, we figure we'll try to visit during some other times of the year. Clearly we want to hit the Flower and Garden festival.
But are their any other times of year with decorations that are unique?
I have to assume they have some 4th of July trim (red, white, and blue) during part of the summer. But is this only around the 4th of July? When does that start?
Choosing a time to visit in the summer seems hard in general. The 24-hour day on Memorial Day Weekend seems fun. But so do the 4th of July fireworks. Are those really better than the fireworks they show on a regular night in June? And what about the Sounds like Summer concerts? How do these compare to the Food & Wine acts? They are cover bands but those can be better or worse. And opinions? And then there is that darn Villains day. We'd like to do that sometime too. But we still don't know enough about how that will go each year.
Basically, if you had no other constraints, what events would you try to hit from Jan 1- Sept 15?
