It is the most busy time for disney,with that said if you plan right you can still have a blast.Make use of the fast pass machines and plan breaks it can also be very hot during that time Go,have fun, relax and just have a good time. If you could move your vacation to the last week in aug the crowds seem to really thin out at that time.

Very good advice methinks. It tends to be quite a bit less crowded during the second half of August. That's because many school systems are starting up at that time, and most parents would rather not pull the kids out of school during the beginning of a new school year.

Thanks everyone. I am not planning this trip, my mother is and it is set in stone, paid for and all so switching the week is out. Just wanted some insight on what to expect! Thank you to everyone!
