Seasonal snacks

I know its not quite august but when do they announce the Halloween treats and snacks for this season. I usually watch a few YouTube blogs to find out but wasn’t sure if they listed them as well

The first MNSSHP is August 17th, right? I'd say a week or so before that. Just a guess.

MNSSHP is only at Disney World. On the West Coast it’s called Oogie Boogie Bash and the first party is in September. The official Halloween season doesn’t begin until 9/6.

I think SWGE overshadowed everything this summer then there was the subsequent scramble after the unexpected low crowds. I’m sure they will be promoting Halloweentime hard! I saw a post from Disneyland Daily that she will be attending a media event pertaining to OBB and Halloweentime tonight.

disneylanddailycasey and carlyewisel are two I follow that I know attended last night. I don't follow nearly as many DLR locals as WDW, so if you have any DLR Instagrammers you'd recommend, I'm all ears

A little too much stuff on them for me, but yeah, WOW! I'm surprised that the merchandise is going to be available all the time, not just during parties. I hope they have enough for everyone. Sounds like that sipper is AP only, right, or do you think there is another one that will be?

The Oogie Boogie sipper? That's a really good question. In another photo, you can see the full sign next to it and there's no mention of it being AP only. There's also a note that AP exclusive items will be announced soon.

Oh, ok. In her post @carlyewisel said she thought there would be an AP only sipper, so I wondered if this one would be it, or if they usually did maybe a different color for AP's. This will be our first trip to DL, and our first Halloween party so I'm overthinking everything!

Edited: Nope, I was wrong. I went back and reread it and she said most likely a popcorn bucket for AP's. Sorry!

I was wrong on that - looks like the Oogie Boogie Sipper will be available for everyone. When I was a WDW AP holder, if someone behind me in line wanted an AP only item I would purchase it for them, at cost to them. (As a rule AP's could purchase two of any one item, and I only needed one.) Maybe we'll get lucky for the DL AP items, if there are ones that we would like!

It's our first trip too! Hopefully as these writers compile all they learned last night, we'll get some blogs/articles soon that are a little easier to understand!

It’s crazy to think that the items that say Oogie Boogie Bash on them won’t be party exclusives... I for sure need a pin and possibly a shirt!

There have been plenty. Lots of seasonal desserts at Jolly Holiday (Smores brownie, coconut cheesecake, Imagination pink macaron), the various funnel cakes, the seasonal hot dogs at Refreshment Corner and Award Weiners, the watermelon mint julep, the bbq chicken baked potato at Troubadour Tavern, the Bonnie's boot float and Loop de Loop sundae at Golden Horseshoe, the loaded fries and onion rings at Hungry Bear, the lemon blueberry and cherry cheesecake bread puddings at Pacific wharf cafe. You can see that most menus have "seasonal offerings" in a seperate section.
