Checking in here. I won't be starting these until May but I know what I'll be doing for it and I've taste tested my recipe! :thumbsup2

I have made both recipes numerous times and I have all of my paper and embellishments. I just need to type the recipes in to my computer. :)

Checking in.. Have my ideas..but nothing else... I need to really get on the ball today... I'm so bad about waiting til the last minute right now.. :(

I printed out the recipe and just finished making my Die Cuts at Archivers this morning. Still need to cut out the ones on my Cricut and I can start assembling.

Gals,

Would do you think of a rustic red color for the background paper w/ a cream colored accent paper to put the poem on... do you think that will kind of incorporate all the months and not over power one in particular.. I plan on embellishing a bit more than normal to incorporate the months...

Thanks.. I found the color I wanted in a stack I have.. so I will take it with me to match it up.. :) Oh, I better write a not to make sure I get enough for 13!!!

Sounds perfect!

I have both recipes typed and formatted. I just need my head to clear and I'll be good to go! :)

That sounds fine. I was planning on putting these in a binder like my last one and your page will be the first in the binder so it is by itself.

before I adhere anything..

Are we making the pages portrait or landscape??? I want to make sure I do it right!!!

so it's 8.5 inches tall and 5.5 inches wide???

:thanks:

That's how most of the recipes have been made in the past.

Rebecca

Thanks Rebecca.. that is what I thought I remember seeing.. off to get to work!!! I have my idea, bought supplies, bought sparkle mod podge to try for my embellishments.. I'm ready to go... (well, provided it works the way I have invisioned!!!)

bought sparkle mod podge to try for my embellishments...

I can't wait to see sparkle Mod Podge! I love to use Mod Podge. I usually paint with sparkle paint first and then Mod Podge over it. A combo product would eliminate that extra step. Thanks! I can't wait to see your finished design! :)

Done!!!

DH says they look cute..but we will see... I did a basic embellishment not to distract too much from the poem..

I hope everyone likes them!!!

Rebecca,
I'll be mailing out on Wednesday (regular mail)..
