Does anyone know how long this will be around? We will be going in early December and wanted to ride Hyperspace Mtn.. Will we be too late? My son loves Star Wars.

They have not announced an end date for Season of the Force, but given that the new Star Wars movie doesn't open until December 18, I suspect Season of the Force (and Hyper Space Mtn) will last at least through the holiday season.

I don't think anyone knows exactly how long it will go for, but I'm fairly certain it will still be going in early December. They're not starting it until mid-November and that's a lot of trouble to go through if they were only going to keep it up for two weeks. I'm also going in early December so I'm counting on them keeping it open.

Thanks so much! I guess I really hadn't thought this through. You are so right about it only being up for a couple of weeks and the money spent to change it and also, Figment, so true that it would at least be around until the movie comes out!

Kinda hoping it lasts until the SW Half Marathon weekend :)

Our last day is November 16th. I know it's difficult to predict because no one has experienced the new stuff yet, but does anyone have any suggestions for how to experience all of the new stuff? For example, would you go to Hyperspace Mountain and Star Tours first? Or would you go to Launch Bay and the character meets first? I'd also like to check out Superhero HQ, but not sure how much we can get done before we have to leave around 5 pm.

I'm no expert, but I've been somewhat thinking this through. I think my priority first thing through the gates would be to get a fp for either Space or Star Tours, and ride the other standby. My assumption (which might be wrong) is that the new Star Tours scene will still be mixed with the other scenarios, so it could take a few rides to actually see it. If that's the case, I would continue to pull fp for Star Tours for as long as possible. Meanwhile, check out the Launch Bay, merchandise, etc. Launch Bay is sure to be less crowded first thing in the morning, but for some reason I'm more willing to deal with crowds there than to wait in a long line for the rides, so that's why I'm starting with the rides.

Since you only have the one partial day, I would say you should start with whichever ride is more important to you, just in case there's a ride breakdown later in the day. Or start with whichever ride is more prone to breaking down (more experienced park visitors might correct me, but I'm thinking that would be Space). I think if you're willing to get there first thing in the morning, even with the crowds I would expect you can see it all before you have to leave. Also, keep an eye out throughout your trip for any soft openings, and you might be able to knock out one of the attractions ahead of time.

Just FYI, for at least some period of time, the new scene for Star Tours will be the only one playing. So don't worry about trying to "catch" it. It will be the only one available.

I would definitely grab a FP for SM or ST first and then check out Launch Bay. I can only imagine the lines getting longer as the day goes on. Then once you've ridden your FP ride, grab a FP for the other and continue with the Launch Bay activities or Jedi Training, etc.

Thank you and @ArchOwl for your input.

I read that Jedi Training will be down Mon-Thurs that week. I assume that you included Jedi Training inadvertently, but if you have different info that it will be open on November 16, I'd love to see it!

Oops, no. I meant to type the Superhero HQ and put Jedi Training for some reason, lol. Monday!

Oh that's good news - thank you! In that case, there's even less of a rush to get on the rides. And since there are only two, you can probably get multiple rides if you're willing to wait in standby once the fp return time gets too late for you.

Can you share how you know this? Also, I am assuming that the new segment will be just one of the three segments you see during a ride. If so, would that mean that you always see the new segment, but the other two segments are random as usual?

The Disney Parks Blog in the comments said that for at least some unspecified period of time everyone who rides ST would see the new scene.

The Parks Blog is very careful to say "scene," so I am guessing you are correct. Not sure exactly how they will splice that together, but I am thinking just one of the scenes will be new. I could be wrong on that, however. I haven't heard any rumors one way or the other.
