OK, my 3 favorite series ended their seasons with cliff hangers.

NCIS left Ziva being tortured in Somalia.

Criminal Minds left Hotch in his apartment with a masked intruder saying you should have taken the deal and a gunshot.

Bones had Booth regaining consciousness after brain surgery with amnesia.

At least they are all renewed so the cliff hangers will have resolutions.

Anyone else have cliff hangers on their favorite shows? And Lost doesn't count. Lost has cliff hangers every 5 minutes. :rotfl:

I think Ziva is there by design - she is one tough cookie...love NCIS and the new spinoff looks like it will be another favourite of ours!!

Terminator had a very cool ending and cliffhanger....and then the show got cancelled

I've been traveling so was catching up on my tivo- I saw the criminal minds cliff hanger but don't can't remember the significance of the line the masked gunman said - what deal????

Oh, and two good cliff hangers Private Practice and Grey's Anatomy.

" Season 4: Episode 18: Omnivore

Hotch is summoned to South Boston to the deathbed of a detective who headed the first case Hotch worked in the BAU. The dying cop confesses that he made a secret deal with the serial killer. If he stopped looking for the UnSub, the UnSub would stop killing. For ten years both parties observed their unique contract. But now, when the death of the detective triggers the return of the UnSub, Hotch and the BAU must travel to Boston to apprehend the most notorious serial killer in New England's history. "

He had offered Hotch the same deal but he turned it down. They captured him but he escaped.

Thank you. At least that solves part of it.

The best cliffhanger, bar-none, was on Lost (well, best out of the shows I watch, since none of the shows mentioned here I watch). How can you compete with these questions: Will the entire show's history be changed? Did the nuclear bomb cause THE incident, or will it be a seperate incident? Is Jacob really dead? Is Juliet really dead? Who is walking around in John Locke's skin? Why does next year have to be the last season?

Why does next year have to be the last season?

because like Battlestar Galattica, the creators had a vision for what the show would be and intend to stick with it. I will be bummed when Lost is no more.

I wasn't thrilled with the season finale of House either. Kind of felt it was a big tease.

I like where this could be going. I am envisioning House driving the Psych Hospital staff crazy...

We found out that Pam was pregnant in the season finale of the Office, and that Jack now knows who his real father is in the season finale of 30 Rock. Yes, I'm an NBC junkie LOL :)

If your talking about the "it was all a dream thing," I was actually happy that was the case. If the writers honestly had House only go through detox for one day just to have him "do it" with Cuddy, then that would have destroyed the credibility of the show. Besides, the idea that House imagined the better life without actually doing it sounds more like him than the alternative. Still, I can see how it can feel like a cop-out. I just thought that House handled it better than the other shows that did it this year.

Next season should be very interesting. House will either be off Vicodin or he will be so hopped up on anti-psychotics that he will not be able to work.

For the record, I am VERY glad Lost has set an end date. I'm just gonna miss obsessing over it. :headache:

Thank you, thank you, now I remember - that was a good episode.

Haven't seen that one yet, I'm still about 10 episodes behind on House, and I haven't even started watching this season of Lost or 24. Can you tell I'm very far behind. :scared1: I have enough on tivo to keep me busy all summer.

Someday I have to get all of the LOST seasons on DVD so I can understand what the show is all about. I never got into it and tried to watch it one night....boy was I LOST!

Grey's Anatomy...after the leak, I wasn't totally surprised about George & Izzie. I'm still hoping that they aren't dead though.

Private Practice...Couldn't believe it. I'm hoping Violet & her baby are okay...especially after she & Pete decided to give it a go.

Brothers & Sisters...kinda boring. I'm over the whole Kitty & Robert separation storyline.

Can anyone get me a link to the season finale of Criminal Minds....I can't find a full video...just clips! I just watched five episodes thinking I had the season finale on there and it wasn't it! I can't believe it didn't DVR!:scared1: I'm freaking out that I can't find a link....somebody please help!!!! TIA!

Supernatural and Lost had my favorite Cliffhangers.

I don't know if everyone else has this problem but it takes me 15 minutes to load some of these pages sometimes on the board and I am on the highest DSL line available.

OK now to my comments!!!!

I am so far behind its unbelivable. I just watched the season finale of last season when Jenny was killed. And that in itself was a bit sketchy at best. I was a big fan of NCIS and due to hitting the boards and the internet hard with Disney related stuff (ie Disboards and etc) I dont watch that much TV anymore.

I am in the process of trying to catch up on a lot of things and hopefully will soon.

On a tangent how does these shows have anything to do with Disney. They aint even ABC shows.

For me - the ending of 24 season 7 was RUBBISH!!!! I WAS LIVID AT THE END - SEE I'M STILL SHOUTING ABOUT IT NOW!!!!

GRRRRR

90210 did the same thing. Seeing as how they didn't getting good ratings thus far in their first season though (being on the CW and going up against idol had a lot to do with it), i don't blame them. It will keep people coming back to watch next season and is also means to possibly build up big hype again for the show going into season 2 with the much rumored return of Dylan McKay.
