Seaside Heights

A couple of friends and I are thinking about taking a trip up to Seaside this summer. Probably sometime mid-june. It's not that far away from me (like and hour) but we are planning to stay over night. Does anyone know of good (not too expensive) hotels/motels in the area.
Also what fun activities are there to do to there? Also any good places to eat?

a be careful where you stay, there are some nastyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy places. When I think back of where I used to stay when I was young and we'd go down there during the off season to party, I and wonder how I never brough bed bugs home lol.

Bum Rogers is an ok bar/restaurant in Seaside Park, and Crabs Claw in Lavallette is nice if you're looking for sit-down meal. Otherwise there are plenty of Burger/sausage/pizza stands on the boardwalk. Bring lots of $ for the games and rides.

Agree that the hotels in SH are geared toward the younger set. I have never stayed in a hotel in SH but there are a lot of them and they are well broken in, lol.
