I received a Smilesaver email with a $3.99/sheet coupon attached -- and deleted it by accident! DD is getting Christmas pictures taken tomorrow. Can someone forward it to me? TIA -- I hate paying their regular prices!

I got that too. Did you read the fine print where it says after you by 8 a reg. price (7.99)? I usually don't buy that many sheets so it wouldn't really help here.

What ever happened to the coupons for $4.99 per sheet They seems to having more and more fine prints.

It seems like ever since Sears Portrait Studios went digital, there are less coupons. I have been a Smile Saver member for 7 years and used to get the $3.99 and $4.99 per sheet coupons all the time in the mail. I remember when the proof sheets used to be free and now they charge for them also.

Has anyone ever tried JC Penney for photos? I wonder if they are comparable for price and value?

I agree. I remember when the proof was free. No more. :( Got the coupon a few times a year, no more.

I do not like how they charge extra for everything now like the borders and special affects either...

They've gone down hill. I used to go to JC Penny but switched to Sears several years ago, I may have to try JC Penny again.

I may have to try somewhere else as well. Wasn't very pleased with the pics I had done for DD for Xmas this time. Some were cute, but I really don't like not getting to see them on the screen anymore and saying if the shot was ok or not. I also don't like the way they "spruce" them up before showing them to you. Took way too long to get shots done and ordered while trying to keep a 3 yr old entertained.

That's why I switched to JCPenney recently. I didn't think that it was too outrageous to have the coupons for $3.99 or $4.99 a sheet. But, now that they don't have the coupons, I just can't afford it anymore.

I took my DD to JCPenney and they took some GREAT pictures of her. They don't have quite as many backgrounds & props, but you can bring your own props if you want. And, they still have good coupons.

Yep, I was a loyal customer for the last two years, but smile savers expires in December for us, and we have been saving up the jcpenneys coupons.

We use to get sheets for 3.99, buy about 10 for around $40.

Now, at our most recent visit, sheets were 7.99 and the lady too EVERY SHOT CROOKED, and tried to convince me to 'crop' the lopsidedness out of them for $7 PER SHEET. So that would be 14.99 per sheet just to get a picture with ds centered in the middle. I never had a problem with them centering the child before this.

I am going to give Penneys a try, with the new baby we will have another couple of busy years in pictures :flower:

Just took DD 2 weeks ago & we still had the screen & were able to ok the shots. I would not like not being able to ok them.

Sure wish we'd had a coupon for $3.99. Before going, I checked online & only found a free 8x10.

I took my grandson today for his first "in-store" photos. I wanted to suprise my son and DIL with some photos of the baby. I brought his christening gown, his halloween costume and a Santa suit I bought for him.
We got there for the 10:30 appt. Nicholas was screaming and I tried to quiet him down. The photographer took a walk in while I worked on the baby.
At 11:30 he was sleeping so the photographer took his 11am appt. he woke up in a good mood at around noon. It lasted about 15 min and he fell asleep.
At 12:30 he was sleeping again. Photograper took his 30 min lunch and of course the baby woke up for about 15 min.
1 am, the photographer got Nicky on the table and he started to scream. This baby crys but never screamed like this.
1:30. the next appt. Nicky woke up and was all smiles. I am determined, I am not leaving!!!!!!!!!1
2:30 Nicky is on the table again. He is fussy but once in a while we can coax a smile out of him. He decides that he likes his hands in front of his face every time they snap a photo. All I see are fingers...how did a 2 month old learn how to make that sign to his grandma already. A great photo of my grandson flashing grandma the finger.
3:30 I ordered way too many pictures. 3 of them came out ok, and the other 3 were not as ok. But of course, this is my first grandson and I am crazy. $130 later I have a paper saying that I will get
1 10x13, 4 8x10's, 13 5x7's 2 31/2 x 5's and 74 wallets. The photographer is giving me 50 Christmas cards for free because I am "persistant".
EVERYONE is getting PICTURES of the baby for CHRISTMAS this year!!! Peggie

Just so you know some sears will price match Jcpenney coupons. Call your store to find out!!
