I plan to purchase my admission tickets through Sears Travel this week and since it is closed for business at this hour, I was wondering if anyone knew how much they are charging for their 5 day (or 6 day) hopper plus passes. I am looking for 1 adult and one child.

Thanks!

When are you going? If not for a couple of months, I would wait. The current promo for accomdations at WDW ends this month, and Disney should followup with another offer. In years past they have offered Tickets at par, buy 1 get one 1/2 price, etc.

Hi Shakey...thanks for replying. We will be there November 14-21st. We've taken advantage of the specials in years past when we've gone over our March break. These specials never seem to take place at any other time except for January-May, which will do us no good at all.

Shelly, when I phoned Sears Travel about hopper passes, the price I was quoted for a 7 day park hopper plus with a bonus free character breakfast (at one of 4 restaurants...I forget which, but not the most popular like Chef mickeys), was $459.00 Cdn (probably Adult price). If you are only buying tickets through them and not anything else like air or hotel, they told me they will charge you an administrative fee of about $27.00. Jo-Anne

Shelley: Check with your local TA for tickets. I know that we don't charge an administration fee for tickets in our office. I'd also wait for the Canadian promo to come out. The past few years have only been for Jan - May, but I have purchased tickets in October that were usuable starting in November. Just depends on the promotion Disney decides to offer this year. Unfortunately they are not offering Disney passes here at the DIS any longer. Hopefully they will be able to again soon.

Our family will be in Disney over Christmas Holidays - I know in the past I've made use of the buy one pass, get the other half price - but cannot remember when it usually comes out and if it typically is available during Christmas...anyone's memory better than mine?

JJ-the discounts aren't usually valid for the Christmas period. This year, with attendance being down so much, what will happen is anyone's guess.

On our trip in 99 my dad bought his tickets at the Disney Store and got the buy one get one half price and it was valid for Dec so call them I was also told they should start seeing new deals starting in OCt and they were hinting at a possible return of at par for us here in Canada I wouldn't hold my breath on it just wait until it arrives but that was a rumor I heard from one TA. So in October start looking for new deals on passes and rooms

I bought 2 adults and one child tickets in April 2001 at Sears Travel, one of the adult tickets was half price due to the Canadian deal. The total with taxes in CDN funds was $1017

HI The deal is buy one and get one at 1/2 price.=704. You get a character breakfast and a 7 day hopper plus. Good until Apr 30 including Christmas. Thru your travel agent.
