for adults.. not the little 30 piece kids ones.. any ideas??

Brand new at WDW is a new 1000 piece puzzle (definitely for adults) that celebrations WDW's 40th Anniversary. It comes in a cool little suitcase type box. I have a feeling it'll take me FOREVER to put it together.

Also, I know I've seen adult Disney puzzles in Target. Most of them are Fine Arts type prints.

I've bought 3 (put together 2) at Jo-Ann Fabrics. Use their 40%-50% off coupons makes it a great bargain!

I got some at Barnes and Nobel online, using a link from e-bates (I think 20%off toys/games?). I got one that is 500 pieces and is was under $7!

Deals!

They weren't huge - 100 pieces, but if you dumped two boxes together that would make it more difficult.

Use an old Disney Vacation picture and send it through Walmart, Shutterfly, etc. and have a puzzle made out of it.

I was looking for the same thing a year or so ago and I found this website featuring all sorts of Disney puzzles that were on average 1000 pieces. If I remember correctly, it's called Imaginatorium or something similar to that (just google it, I'm sure it'll pop up). While they do have crazy amazing puzzles to choose from, they're based in Japan and are pretty expensive. Plus, with the recent tragic events in Japan, I don't know how it'll affect things. :confused3

I'm also on the hunt for Disney jigsaws - decided that those are going to become our wall art!
The only puzzles I've been able to find at walmart and target have been little kid ones (100 pc or less) and don't have the artsy look I wanted.

Thanks for the Joann tip, though, will definitely be checking craft stores now!

we have one from Target from a few years ago that is 1000 pieces and is a large Mickey made of a mosaic of hundreds of images from classic disney films! its awesome!

i know this is an older thread but just found some beautiful Disney puzzles. They are by Ravensburger. If you Google Ravensburger Disney puzzles you will find them. I think these are what the OP was looking for.....

Check Toys R Us as well. I've bought some really nice Disney puzzles there. They are over in the games section. They have some for kids and adults as well.

Just got back from WDW and they still have the 1000 pc 40th ann and also a beautiful 1000 pc (I think) that looks like an Ellenshaw. It's of castle and very beautiful.

Word of warning, I bought several Japanese from ebay and the pieces are extremely thin and almost impossible to put together. Don't know if this was just a case of a ripoff seller with fake puzzles or if they are really that way. They were expensive (~$30) each.

There are still the mosaic puzzles in many of the dept/toy stores (i.e., Target, WalMart, ToysRus, etc.).

Walmart has a few from an artist Toby Bluth. If you Google him, you'll see the Disney puzzles on Amazon for cheaper than walmart.

I have the Snow White one, Fantasia, Cinderella and Alice at the tea party ones. They are hanging in my craft room on my Disney wall :)

DH and I own a hobby store. We have several Disney puzzles. (Hmm, wonder why? lol)

PM me for more info if you are interested.

I bought some while in Japan and more when I returned home from this website that someone else mentioned. The images are so awesome and much better quality than what I have found stateside. Plus they have ones up to 4,000 pieces. The prices are expensive yes but they are worth it!

This one was my favorite 4,000 pieces
