Hi everyone! I have a few questions, and sadly I'm not even trying to make a design, just print one out and iron one on!:rotfl2:

If I have read correctly, if I get the dark transfer paper, I won't need to print out a mirror image of the design....just print as is and iron on? Also, if I like a design I can just put it in my word document and then print it out on the transfer paper? And lastly, would someone be able to email me the photo in a jpeg file, making it easier to save? I will be printing this out at my SIL's house, so I want to make sure I have half a clue!:lmao: My printer broke last month, and with Disney coming in Aug I've allocated my printer money towards the pirate and princess party!

Thanks for any and all help! And just so you know, yes I did read the how to's in the sticky, but am having mommy brain!

You're right about the dark transfer paper from my experiences (I'd check the directions just to make sure though). You can copy it into Word, though I think Paint might be easier just so you don't have to deal with resizing it because of the margins on Word (just a thought?). I'm willing to e-mail you designs (I'm sure the other designer's would as well), but just in case you didn't know, if you right click on the design you can save it to your computer that way as well/e-mail it to yourself or SIL :) Hope this helps! :)

Yes, if you buy the dark transfer paper, you will not need to print in mirror image. I also think that the dark transfers look brighter and last longer. Read the instructions over completely and carefully before you begin. It really isn't too bad.

Yes, you can print the design from Word.

If you PM the designer, she will most likely be able to e-mail the jpeg to you. It's pretty easy to save it from here, too, though. For the PC (I can't help with the Mac), you just need to right-click on the image. Then choose "save picture as" and save it in jpeg format.

Have a magical trip!

Thanks for all the quick replies. I do have a mac, so I think the jpeg would be easier. I haven't figured out how to save it to my computer yet. I am off to Michael's tonight, so I will look for the dark transfer paper. And I would love any pirate designs any one cares to offer!

Now I'm off to browse more designs from all you talented DIS'rs!

I don't have much for pirates.

I have this name design:

And this design:
PirateCruise07.jpg

There are some really terrific pirate designs out there, though, so look around. I know that Maria (Cruiser1969) has done some and I think that Amy has, too.
