search function

I usually keep track of threads I've posted on by using the advanced search function. I used it today, but all it found was threads I've started. What gives????

The very best way to follow threads, whether you've posted to them or not, is to subscribe to them. If you're not sure how that works, instructions are also in the linked thread.

In order to find threads where you've posted, click on Quick Links at the top of any board and slide down to Subscribed Threads. Just like the boards, the ones in bold have new posts since your last visit.

WebmasterKathy... I did a double take when I saw the pic of your beagle. My beagle Dixie looks almost EXACTLY like your dog! Mine is probably older and chubbier, but marked very similarly.

Not at all! She lets the puppy (now 2yrs old - a beagle/cocker mix) rule the roost! She's quiet - except when she's ready to be fed. She dances and turns circles. Too funny! That's the only time she's very animated. Oh, except when she's able to sneak out the front door. Then there's no catching her.

We adopted her 8 yrs ago, and don't really know how old she is, but her face used to be mostly brown and is now mostly white. I'm guessing she's at least 11yrs old.

Jessie tries to sneak out the door, too. I think that's probably how she came to be ours- animal control picked her up as a stray, and we adopted her through the Humane Society.

She made herself at home the minute she walked in our door. She's quite spoiled, a real couch potato most of the time. When she gets excited, she does the dancing and twirling thing, too. We think she's 5 or 6.

I'm also not enjoying the new search. I've tried subscribing and am adjusting, but it's not the same. I'm really trying to be brave and haven't shed any tears , but I really miss being able to search my username (no, it's not an ego thing ). I also miss being able to search easily for other posters. So no chance that it will return to the old way?
