Searaider Boat Rentals at Contemporary?

DH has a morning business meeting during our trip. I was going to take DS7 and DS9 out on Water Mouse boats, but oops, would need two adults to pull that off.

I just read something about Searaider boats that are avail. at the Comtemp. and carry three people. But this was in the 2000 edition of Birnbaums. Does anyone know anything about these? Are they still available? Hard to drive?

Any info would be most appreciated!

I know exactly what you are talking about. The Sea Rayders were only available in 2000 for a short period of time. I was told by a cm that they were a bit too fast and potentially dangerous in the eyes of the risk managers at WDW, hence they are no longer available. You can rent Jet Skis from Sammy Duvall's Water Sports Centre at the CR - they will seat about 3 people and are very fun. I think they run about $100/hour.....Bon Voyage.
