I watched parts of the show, and while it appears the judge line-up was deliberately made to be the same as DWTS, were they drugged to be so underwhelming? I actually felt bad for the contestants/pro's who were looking for maybe SOME energy in the crit's. Johhny tried the best.....ah well, Sean may reveal some entertainment value in the loco department.

Didn't Dick Button look like he almost dozed off near the beginning. when it was his turn to show his paddle, it took him a few extra seconds, and I swear his eyes looked closed! LOL

also did anyone hear Sean Young when they asked her what her edge over the competition is? she said looks, skill, talent, and then she said what edge DON"T I have over the competition!

I've never been a fan of hers either! I guess that's why she never really made it big in Hollywood.
She recently had a part on the Young and the Restless and her face was expressionless all the time. Bad acting in my opinion.

I almost fell outta my seat when I saw Dick Button as a judge! He's waaaay past his prime for judging! I cringe when I see him as a commentator for National & Olympic skating events. And Johnny Weir - woah, I know he's theatrical, but the make-up, even when he wasn't skating!

The young man (from the Disney channel show) was very good, lots of energy. Vince Gill - thought the childhood skating competition would give him an edge - nope. Can't stand Bethany in any capacity (& I've never watched her "show"). Sean Young seemed a little spacey - didn't realize that she has a history of "crazy". Looking forward to seeing more from Jonny Mosley & Rebecca Budig (I'm a fan of All My Children).

This is only 5 weeks, so I'll probaly watch.

Another example of the crazy: Remember when they were casting Cat Woman? She made her own costume and audition tape for the producers. I bet if you YouTube it it's still there.

I recorded it and watched it just this morning. I loved the first season, so I was looking forward to seeing it again. Don't like the host at all, who the heck IS he? Last time it was my all-time favorite skater, Scott Hamilton. I wish he would have come back to host it again.

I enjoyed the show so will continue watching but am really not very familiar with any of the skaters or "stars." I've seen Sean before, and of course Jonny Mosley but that's about it. I think last season they had better skaters and "stars" too.
