Seafood Buffet at Sonya's VBR

We'll be at VB in April and I was wondering about the Seafood Buffet on Thurs at Sonya's...or whether their regular menu night would be a better bet. My parents are travelling with us and my father is an extrememly picky eater (because he's an excellent cook..) Is there a disney restaurant's buffet (Cape May?) that would compare to this or is it nicer?

The seafood buffett was ok... I like seafood and sampled it while we were there in November... I personally liked the "Italian Buffett" from the previous year much better...

My wife, being a picky eater, ordered from the menu and was very happy with her decision.

(If all else fails, you could also ask to see the Shutter's menu as well to give you more variety.)

The seafood buffet is Yummy. Of course, you have to like seafood to enjoy it. The only thing worth mentioning about it was they had a lot of seafood "dishes" the night we were there and not a lot of just plain seafood offerings-like a big bowl of crab legs, a big bowl of this....Does that make sense? DH loved it because they had stone crab claws. I don't know if these are still available in April.

You will be more than pleased with the offerings at the buffet and off the menus of Sonya's and Shutters. Don't be afraid to make specific requests if you want.

They also make a different sorbet flavor in-house every day that is a nice alternative to some of the heavier dessert offerings.
