I am trying to find a good place to get seafood at WDW. Hubby loves fresh seafood and this trip is a huge suprise for his 40th. I am not fond of seafood, so I have no idea where to take him!! Thanks!

Fultons in DTD has always been good.

I would definitely suggest Blue Zoo, located in the Dolphin hotel....
We LOVE the seafood here, and they have some pretty good non-seafood options as well. The ambience is really nice as well.

OR Flying Fish on the boardwalk.....

Check out both menu's here: http://allears.net/index.html :thumbsup2

Agree--Blue Zoo and Flying Fish are best. I'm not a big fan of Fultons, but they do have a pretty good seafood/fish menu.

My first choice is Blue Zoo.
Next would be flying fish.

Other options:
After that I would say the tuna at Kona or the Snapper at Kouzzinna.

I like cape may cafe, and of course they offer a ton of options for those who don't care for seafood (I could go to TOWN on their ribs) but I have not been to those other restaurants, so I'm sure they are fantastic as well :)

Thank you!!! So many different restaurants to choose from at WDW! I will look at those menus..he loves shrimp and different fish...not big on oysters or mussels.

Everyone seems to love Blue Zoo's menu, and I agree that it's pretty impressive. I'll be eating there in November for the first time.

As far as my personal experience, the best fish dish I've had in any of the parks was at Coral Reef. Unfortunately, it was the catfish, which isn't on the menu anymore. Next on the list would be the whole fish at Kouzzina.

Given Hubby wants quality seafood, you can't go wrong at the top three below:

Fultons - best for shellfish, very pricey.
Flying Fish - arguably best overall in terms of quality vs. price
Blue Zoo - IMHO unlike the above, this is not a true seafood restaurant (large % percentage of menu is not seafood) but is still very good.

And as for the rest:

Cape May - think Red Lobster at twice the price. Not bad but IMHO isn't going to impress those who are used to good, fresh seafood.
Coral Reef in Epcot Living Seas - take away the "underwater" theming (a big part of the appeal here) and what you have is better than Cape May but not the quality of the top three.

flying fish has some nice choices, the red snapper is amazing

I think it will be the Flying Fish or Coral Reef. Fultons looks good too!

The best piece of fish I have ever had at WDW was a Tuna steak at The Wave. It was the catch of the day when I ate there.

Agreed. BlueZoo and Flying Fish would be at the top of my list. Fultons has not disappointed us yet (been twice), but I believe lunch is a much better value there than dinner.

Flying Fish is tops by far, followed closely by BlueZoo.

Narcoose's and Fultons are both overpriced, IMO based on quality.

We love the clam bake buffet at Cape May, but it's a buffet...

If you are using the dining plan, Bluezoo and Fultons are not on it, and flying fish and Narcoose's are two credits.

We love Narcoossee's, Flying Fish Cafe, and Fulton's. Flying Fish is my new favorite! The Potato Wrapped Red Snapper was out of this world! I also love the Whole Maine Lobster at Narcoossee's!
