Hello everyone.. I'm super close to finalizing my basic details of my wedding and my question is this:

tell me a little bit about seabreeze point please... is it a great location? how does it compare to sunset point? I'm trying to decide between the two locations.. I've been leaning towards the two since I decided I wanted a disney wedding. The only problem is I may have more than 10 people in my party.. so I might *have* to choose seabreeze point.. which would be ok.. I'm just curious if the location was as beautiful and romantic as it seems in the pictures.

so if you've been married there.. please let me know how it was.. what time it was... what time of year.. etc..etc..

thank you!!!

I have not been married yet, but our wedding is at SBP. But, I think your problem is solved.......

You can not have more than 10 people (including bride and groom) at sunset pointe...... :sad2:

So, I think SBP is your only option if you are choosing between the two.....sorry!

I have seen several weddings at SeaBreeze pointe. It really is a beautiful view right out on the water. One bonus is that because it is covered, it provides shade for you and your guests, where Sunset Point leaves everyone out in the sun. :beach:

We're also getting married at SBP. We really wanted something on the water, but also covered since we're going to have some elderly guests. I don't think we'll regret it at all, it looks gorgeous!!

I originally wanted Sunset Point...but we ended up at Sea Breeze Point and I'm SOOOO happy we did!!!

We were married there last September, at 11am. I think the boardwalk area is not quite as crowded during the day when the parks are open (unless it's peak season). It is just off the boardwalk, and folks will pass by (and maybe stop on the walk and watch) but, to me, that's part of the magic. Everyone loves a wedding ;)

The gazebo is quite large, but the ambiance is very romantic...almost like you've stepped back in time to the boardwalk era (1920's???) which is how it's supposed to make you feel. ;)

I think you'll love it!!!

It is gorgeous...pictures don't do it justice.

Feel free to check out the link in my siggie...it has some of our wedding pics (but not all).

thank you everyone! I think I've been sold! Honestly, I think I'll have to do seabreeze pointe just because of the number of guests allowed (I'd rather have extra space to play with if others want to come to the wedding) and it does sound quite beautiful. I could get a vintage inspired dress to match the setting!

thank you.

OH! PS. how was the weather last september for your wedding? I'm hoping it won't be too hot or rainy! and congrats on your seabreeze disney wedding! :Pinkbounc

Thank you!

Unfortunately, it was quite hot and VERY humid for our wedding. I knew it could be and that's one of the reasons why we wanted a "morning" ceremony (there was no way DH was going to make a 9 am ceremony, so 11 am worked best for us).

The timing ended up being perfect. It was threatening rain all day and when my WP called that morning, she was looking for alternate locations...I told her not to look too hard :teeth: but I know the alternate would have been just as beautiful. Anyway, it didn't rain until about an hour after our ceremony (about 12:30).

Depending on the time of year, remember that an afternoon shower in Florida is to be expected (especially summer/late summer).

I'm a SBP Bride! :wave2:

I was also trying to decide between the two places and I was persuaded to go with SBP. It's a great choice because the area is covered to block the unpredictable FL weather and the location also can hold more guests.

SBP is a beautiful location! The most beautiful choice in my opinion! It is perfect! :goodvibes I love it being on the water and on the Boardwalk. It is also very private.

SBP is really a magical place! :wizard:

I initially wanted Sunset Point but due to having the Wedding in August was not allowed because of the heat. We finally settled on SBP and I'm now glad I did, it looks so romantic and every bride that got married there raves about it. I only wish I could see some video of it...

sounds like a lot of people ended up *having* to choose that location and were very happy with it!

I can't wait. I'm callng today to book it!!! :woohoo:

it's so funny.. before I knew I was having my wedding at disney, just thinking about all the planning and things made me stressed out...

now I'm finally able to get excited about getting married!

thanks everyone! :grouphug:

SBP was amazing! I couldn't have asked for a better location. It felt very private, my pics came out AWESOME & the backdrop of The Boardwalk & The Yacht/Beach Club was priceless.
