Sea World - worth it?

Sea World is wonderful. It's not as seamless as WDW, but they do a lot of things very, very well.

Think of it as an absolutely first class zoo/aquarium with a handful of high quality thrill rides. We're skipping it this trip (just because you can't do everything), but we visited multiple times on our last two trips, and did Discovery Cove once, and Aquatica once as well.

I know I will get slammed for saying this here, but I think SeaWorld is awesome, and you would not be "wasting" a day. We enjoyed the shows and the animals at SeaWorld FAR MORE than our day at Animal Kingdom. There was alot there to do for everyone, teens as well as smaller children.

I cannot express how much we enjoyed the shows. They have a sealion show, an extreme stunt type of show in the lagoon, several other shows, beautiful grounds, and of course, they have some thrill type rides as well. Well worth it! You would not be sorry!

I could not agree with you more, and neither could my future hubby. AKL just does not appeal to us..we get bored!! LAst trip, we avoided it altogether, and went to SW. We had a BLAST. One of my most memorable disney days....(Well not really disney, but you know what I mean) ;)

Since the Disney military pass is "only" 4 days this years (not a complaint, I am thrilled that we get the deal!) and we get free entry to SeaWorld because we are Sesame Place season pass holders...SeaWorld will be playing a significant role in this trip.

I am not sure if my three year old is more excited about seeing Mickey or the dolphins:cool1:
