I just had to post a positive review about Sea World! We were at WDW staying at POP from 4/22-4/30. On 4/27(Wed) we visited Sea World and loved it! I got discount tickets from AAA(if you don't use the tickets they can be refunded by AAA). We loved all the shows( Shamu, Fusion, Pets Ahoy and Clyde/Seamore Shows). My 4 yr DS enjoyed himself very much. We also was able to take a break from dashing attraction to attraction. It was less crowded then WDW. Weather was wonderful. The park is very clean and colorful. If you have a preschooler or young elementary student I give it high marks. We were so happy we visited Sea World Orlando.

Fantastic time at POP 4/22-4/30

Glad to hear this. I haven't been to SW in probably 15 years or so. We are taking our kids (5 and 6) this August.

DH & I haven't been to Sea World since '92 or '93 and that was before kids. Do you think it would be worth it to take DD6 & DS10 for the day? They are not into the thrill rides but would like the shows. I remember really liking it when we went so long ago. We go to WDW quite a bit so this next trip in august I'd like to do a few different things...

If your kids don't like thrill rides Sea World might be perfect for them. The shows and the animal attractions are great. If they like animals or sea life go and enjoy. Of course April was nice for the weather. I am not sure how Sea World is during the summer months. We order the tickets from AAA. They have a refund policy until the end of the year to return the tickets if you don't go.

Thanks Magalex! That's good to know about AAA as that is where I was going to get our tickets...

Thanks...that is great to know. I have really been debating about Sea World this next trip.

My question to you is this...can I do it alone with a 18 month old and 3 yr old?

I do the zoo, aquarium, etc here with them alone. Is there thigns that they can see from their stroller or will I have to constantly be gettng them out an parking the stroller. I know with shows I'll have to get them out but other then that is the stroller feasible...given its just me they will both be in the stoller.

Hi Metta4

Sea World attractions are probably set up close to things like at WDW. You will need to park at the stroller parking area for shows and exhibits. I noticed alot of exhibits were located inside buildings probably to keep people and animals cool during the hot months. I am impressed of your ability to take 2 toddlers to parks. Good for you :cheer2: :flower: I am sending some magic your way :wizard: One little side note my DH and I noticed a smart little squirrel going to each stroller one by one checking for food while we were at Sea World. So don't leave food on the bottom of the stroller.

thanks magalex..i am sure i will need all the magic you can send,...hehehehe.

now actually DH wants to go too, so we may do it the day b/4 his conference starts..we were pallning AK then but may chg that to a different day..plus we were just there a couple weeks ago....

thanks again...looking forward to it

Hi Bill

We were planning on letting our DS play at the Happy Harbour until we saw how big it was. We could lose sight of him. There were different entrance and exits. Because he is an only child we wasn't too comfortable with letting him in at only 4 plus we had time restraints. I bet we would had problems getting him out.
