I have never been to Sea World, but one of my cousins is planning to take her children there next year. She asked me some questions that I can't answer, so I'm hoping you guys can help me out.....

1. Is it ever possible for kids to help feed the animals
2. If so, how/when? Do you get picked/can you sign up?
3. Does feeding the animals cost lots of $$$$
4. Can anyone think of other ways that my cousins could see the animals up close?

Thanks for your help,

1. You can feed the dolphins in Key West area. You do have to buy the fish, but it is worth the money. Tell your cousin to get in line early and wait for the fish stand to open at feeding times.

You can also feed the stingrays and mantas in their pool. You can buy the food there too.

And you can also purchase food to feed the sea lions and seals near the Clyde and Semore stadium.

I don't remember how much the fish cost but seems like it is $3 or $ 4 .

You can stay and watch, feed, and touch as long as you like.

There also is an area where you can touch and learn about things like hermit crabs etc. There is an employee there to tell you about the different sea creatures that are in the small aquarium. Also tell them not to miss the aquariums in the big building and the ones in the floor and ceiling behind/in the gift shop near Journey to Atlantis.

Before you go into the manatee exhibit/aquarium you can watch the manatees from the surface-illegal to touch so no real close up there.

And tell them not to miss the Arctic Adventure. You see the animals through the glass but the walrus will interact with you if he noitices you through the glass.
