Sea World Park Hours - August

We are planning to visit Sea World on August 27th. Right now the web is showing the park closes at 7 pm, but the hours for early August show park hours until 10 pm. All of July the park is open until 10 pm. Is there a chance that Sea World will change the hours and stay open later? We were hoping to see Reflections. Thanks.

I'll be there during this time also. I'm thinking it is due to the fact that school has started back up for most of the country and numbers will be down. This is also part of the reason we are going during this time. Looks like the other parks are doing the same thing.

It would be nice if it was open a little later considering dusk will be at 8pm.

I'm jumping in to see any responses as well, we are leaving on Tuesday of next week and would love to visit the park when it's open later. We are pretty early in the summer for schools to be starting up again so I don't think the numbers will down at this point, I believe they will be up if anything.

Seaworld has the last day of their summer season "Seaworld After Dark" Listed as August 15th. I really dont see them extending hours for the park. I think its pretty much set in stone now. Saturday August 21st, the park is open until 9:00pm. They may have "Shamu Rocks" and "Reflections" that night. But thats not definite.

I'm going to say probably not, the late park hours are due to Sea World After Dark, which ends Aug. 15th. But the park hours don't change very often, sorry.

in 2009 SW ran "after Dark" until Labor day, but the park closing time went from 10pm to 9pm on Aug. 15th. This year I think they are taking a page from Disney since Nightastic ends on Aug 14th.

It may also have to do with the fact that the park is open alot in the winter until 11:00pm for Christmas themed shows and events. The park has never been open this late in November/December. Maybe they are making room for hours then by cutting back some summer hours.

Keep in mind that the hours change yearly. Last year "Seaworld After Dark" went until September 7th. This year it only went until August 15th. It may be longer next year it may be shorter. They will probably have the exact time listed around New Years.
