I am heading down the first week of August and I'm trying to decide which to do!! I have one day to visit a park. DD (7) has never been to Sea World in FL and has been to the MK 5 times. Her last visit was in May so she isn't being deprived of a visit. :) What would you do???
Which park do you think would be the least crowded. I'm looking at a Friday and I know it's an EMH day at the MK.

I would defo go with Sea World. It is really worth going to see and as your daughter was at MK in May, she might enjoy something different.

Sea World is going to be so hot in August, that I think you will not enjoy the park.

We went in August 2006, and were worn out from the heat. Very little of Sea World is indoors - The Penguin exhibit, the Artic exhibit, and I think one of the shows are about all that are indoors. The very nice little kids' area, Shamu's Happy Harbor, I think it is called, is all outdoors.

We are planning to go one day in our upcoming December trip. I just ordered the $25.00 tickets mentioned in another post, so I am excited about going there in December. We want to go back when it is cooler, so we can enjoy the park.

My vote for August would be Magic Kingdom, even if you have been there before.

If she hasn't been to Sea World then Sea World is my choice.Sure It'll be hot but at least in Sea World most of the attractions are shows were you can sit back and relax. The kids area also just got some new rides and overall Sea World is a more relaxed park that many kids enjoy, you can't touch a Dolphin at MK!!get yourself one of those spray bottles with the fan and that should cool you off nicely!!

Thanks for all of the advice. I am so excited to go to FL!!
Where did you get $25 tickets for SeaWorld?? I'm off to search the forum.

Never mind I just found it! It takes ten days to get your txs and I am leaving next week! RATS!

Most people are getting their tics within days. Some have even called and gotten them to priority mail or other sped up service.

You'll both love SeaWorld.

Someone on the other thread called directly for the $25 SW tickets and were able to pay an extra $8 for expedited delivery. Maybe this could work for you also. GL and have fun!
