Hi all........
So we will be leaving soon to head down to Disney and I asked DH when we will be leaving (since we're driving).
I mentioned to him that I would love to try sea world for a day, but i have a few questions...

I was thinking of the vacation packages, for a family of 6, it will cost close to 650.00
that is for 6 tickets (which i heard they validate so you can go back with in 6 consecutive days, so its like getting in for 2 days)

FREE all day dining (1day) and 2 nights in a hotel suite.

this too much??is it worth it?

It is a very good deal. That will come out to approx $110 per person to include tickets with second day free and all day dining for one day. The tickets alone will be approx $75 each with tax, all day dining is approx $33 per adult.

Plus you will get free quick que that includes a sky tower ride and pedal boats.

It is such a good deal, my group have rooms booked we will not even be staying in just to get the extra benefits.

A great deal and so worth the money. You will love SeaWorld. It is very close to being our favorite park

Compelled to reply b/c yeah, SW is pretty much my favorite. Our girls are going to be turning 10 and we have been going there since before they were two. Paying month to month for our APH b/c I just can't release Kraken and Manta and the entire aquatic surrounding. Granted, "Believe" was a better show, however, it's just a really fun park.

I have to laugh b/c I called to cancel and decided to stay another month at least for dh's bday. When I asked how many times we have been there since we had our new passes, the lady said, "Well, you and your husband have been here 13 and your girls 12." lol, we snuck away one weekend I guess!

we did the package deal but just inmho, we weren't too thrilled with the park, the youngest of my kids liked the kiddie area my 3rd child was just OK with the kiddie rides she did wanna do the coasters but she was def. way too short for them and my 1st and 2nd child were still too short for the big coasters so they were def, not thrilled with the kiddie rides, its my fault though i should have checked the height requirements before i booked and i just was too thrilled with going that i didnt....we did the exhibits and shows in 1 day, the park was so empty.
But we did it and now i can say we tried it with the kids and will most likely never go back, sorry for all that love Sea World, no offense

Hey, its ok. SeaWorld is definitely not for everyone. My DD and I love to be entertained and while we love the rollercoasters, we love the shows even more. I should also add that my DD wants to be a Marine Biologist/entertainer so SeaWorld is her dream job.

On a side note, my DD had wanted to go to Univ/IOA for years and I almost went once but checked the height requirements because I know she is also a thrill junky and realized she wasn't tall enough for any of them so I waited until last Sept. If we had gone and she couldn't ride it would have been a disaster so I am glad that I waited.

We loved it and are going back again in a month. We bought buy sw get aquatic free tickets. We haven't been to aquatic yet so excited
The kiddie rides at sw were rather lame compared to what they are used to but we were not there for the rides. The shows were great and the animal encounters even better

we did love the dolphin training show, that was pretty cool ;)

I do have to say we just got APs to US/IOA and they have much more to offer. Still can't beat the coasters at SW. And there's a few shows I love. But, iiwii, moving on. Citywalk awesome for food. ;-)

I say it's a good deal. The quick passes you get free from the hotel are worth $100 or so (When we went, the free vouchers we got, when redeemed, said the hotel paid $126 for us to get the unlimited quick que passes! and we got them each day we went to SW, and we did 2 days) Rode that tower too many times and did the boats twice, but what is great is the lines shorted for the coasters and Atlantis) and with the free one day dining, $29.99 plus tax regular price for aduts, I did not have to pay for any food or drinks from 9am to 9:30pm they day we used our free dining vouchers. To us, the portions were generally huge and alot of the entrees came with an included side, so you could get another side or desert plus a large soda from the fountain or 20oz water every time you go through the line. Hotel also has free shuttle and I think, free parking at the hotel. We stayed at the Fairfield and found it very very convenient.
