Sea World in the rain?

Could anyone post about their experience at Sea World in the rain? We'll be in Orlando from May 23-30, and right now weather.com is showing a whole lota rain while we're there!

I've seen a few threads about what to do in Disney in the rain, but wasn't sure what we could do at Sea World during the storms.

I have been caught in thunderstorms the last few visits, and always been away from any shelter, last time there was about 50 huddled together under 2 canopys and we where all soaked and freezing, after about 30 mins , me and DD ran back to the car and went back to the resort. Not sure there is a lot to do , unless you go in and around Wild Arctic

I can best answer this questions as I have been at SeaWorld for the last 2 days...which has been the worst weather I have seen in a long time. The rain basically shut down the whole park. Obviously Manta & Kraken will not run, but also all the kiddie rides and the dolphin feedings....I am sure there is more.

I received a free 2nd day pass because of the rain from Tuesday, and today they gave me another free second day pass fm the rain today...unfortunately these have to be used within the next 7 days and I cannot make it...so our time at SeaWorld was not so hot.

Honestly, any park is going to be bad in this weather we are having right now.

Thanks so much for taking the time to post - if we get caught in the rain (which seems likely!) we'll just make the most of it, and do/see what we can while we're there.
