Hi everyone-
We are planning a Dainey/Sea World trip Oct 15-19 and we were planning on going to Sea World on Tuesday Oct 17 but I checked their website and it only has the Shamu show scheduled for the day. Every other day before that has a ton of different shows planned. Does anyone know if the animal tale a "vacation" during certain weeks. I am really confused. Please Help!
Thank You!

It may have something to do with the baby whale that was just born.
I'm excited to see the baby tomorrow, but very disappointed that the show Believe is canceled.

Will it be going iby first of November?

I don't know, but I'm on my way up there today. I will try to remember to come back and give an update.
If I don't, try & bump this so I see it. I'll be back Tuesday.

Just returned.
I had forgotten what a beautiful park SW is.
All the shows were going on with exception to Believe. They said it was canceled until further notice.
They did put on a short movie of the baby being born. Then the whales did a short show. The baby is a cutie!!
The crowds were light, which was really nice!
We got to touch & feed many dolphins, my son was in heaven!!
Loved teh Clyde & Seaymore show. the mime is hysterical at the beginning. I will ever walk into that show late!!! :rotfl2:

DD and I have not been to SW since Aug when we had family visiting so this weekend we are spreading the "wealth" around and going to Sea World instead of Disney... to check out the Halloween (not anything like Disney, but still fun and inc in park admission). We need to check out the baby too!!!

It is a great park - we like Busch Gardens too - have APs to both - but it's a much longer drive than the Orlando attractions!!!

don't flame me, just my opinion...i used to enjoy seaworld, now i just don't care for it. Believe was no where as nice as Shamu Rocks that they used to have. In fact, the animals didn't feel like coming out to do tricks and the trainers spent most of the show time just talking about how they became trainers. the packed house started emptying out because there were hardly any tricks. I think we will skip seaworld our next trip. but, in fairness, the dolphin show was hands down the best show of the day. be sure to check it out.

Just curious - I know the shows have been cancelled lately because of the baby was born but does anyone know when the show will be resuming?

We were there last evening - Believe is not happening, but there is a short show of sorts - when we first went in the baby was out swimming with some of the other whales. Very cute little whale! They then had one of the whales and trainer come out and did some of the more dramatic jumps, etc, and of course the splashing of those in the splash zone! It was about 15 minutes. Enough for visitors to experience the whales without the whole "story" of Believe!
