We are taking a last minute trip. Usually we stop at SW on our way to the hotel arriving about 1pm or so. We are going Saturday the 14th and there is a kids festival that day. My kids would LOVE to see the lazy town bunch but the earliest we could possibly get there is 11. Is it worth trying or do you think the tickets will be long gone?

I'm figuring it will be a little cool for the locals that weekend?? We will be there all week. We are not doing disney but a few local things SW, BG, and maybe a water park one afternoon. I just need to know if I should be ready for crowds. We have passes but have never been this time of year.

There are two shows for each "Just for kids festival" so you have a good chance of getting a ticket. I would go anyway and enjoy the day.

According to the website:
"Tickets for Just for Kids Concerts will be distributed across from Nautilus Theater starting at 9am each concert date on a first come, first served basis until all tickets are distributed."

If the earliest you can get there is 11, my guess is you will have a tough time. Then again, I know nothing else about crowds or ticket distribution other than that little bit of information, so maybe those who have been there in previous years (if they have even done this, previously?) will be of better help :)
