Best day to visit Sea World?

Sunday, July 4th
or
Wed or Thursday? :confused3

Should we expect terrible crowds on the 4th of July? I'm thinking Wed/Thurs are going to be bad, too.

Thanks for any advice!

The 4th will be people to people crowded and shows may fill an hour before start times. Lines for meals will be very long, too. I think it will be better on Wed/Thursday. People will get there early and stay all night to see the fireworks. One holiday the line to get into the parking lot started out on International Drive just past the 528 entrance ramp.

wow, that's crazy!

Any suggestions for something to do on July 4th?

The kids really want to do Blizzard Beach. Maybe crowds will be better there (since now July 4th activities or fireworks)?

Everywhere theme park related is going to be crowded on July 4th. One of the busiest if not THE busiest time of the year. I agree with the poster above, go on a Wednesday or Thursday to Seaworld. It will be less crowded and you will really enjoy it.

Since the entire vacation resort area will be nuts that weekend, I would suggest going to a nearby town to take place in July 4th festivities that may be going on. I know Kissimmee which is not far from Seaworld does a fireworks show on its lakefront. There may be a fair or something as well. Another nearby town called "Celebration" will also be having fireworks and a type of fair.

If choosing going to SW on the 4th or going to Blizzard Beach which will be really crowded, I would probably choose SW, but get there early and stay all day. Stadiums are huge and if you get there early enough can usually get in. If not do the things like feed the sea lions, go in the Penquin pavilaon, the manatees, the aquariums, gift shops, kiddy area, the underwater viewing, etc. There will be good fireworks that night. Then just find a spot to sit and chill after the show when everyone is in the mass exit stage. Let the parking lot empty out and then go to your car. So much less stressful to do that at SW since getting out of the parking lot is usually the biggest hassle you will have there on any given day. LOL We usually hit the bakery or ice cream shop and watch the crowd leave now.
