Sea World/ Busch AP Question

I'm trying to decide on the most economical way to purchase APs to both parks for myself and my wife. I see both the Gold and Platinum options include 2 free tickets and 6 50% off tickets. Can these tickets be used at other parks with either the Platinum or Gold options? I assume it's possible with Platinum, since it is an AP to both SW AND Busch, while Gold is only an AP for one or the other. Basically, is a Platinum Pass for SW any different than a Platinum Pass for BG? If I can use the free/50% off tickets at either park, I think I could get by without even buying a pass for my wife, or at the most getting her a bronze at SW and using the free passes at BG.

A FL Platinum pass will be the same thing for both SW and BG

Also- Gold could be 1 park, 2 parks (either SW/AQ, or BG/AI), or all 4 parks
