What is like that week? Any tips? We would be there for 2 days, are any days better?

The week between Christmas and New Years is one of the busiest weeks of the year for all local parks. They will all be slammed. If you can go before Christmas Day, you will be a lot better off. Otherwise...be ready to wait in LONG lines.

How early should we get in line for shows? We are not planning on doing any of the rides.

Depends on the show. If you're looking for either Shamu show, I would ask as soon as I got there...you can never be too early.

Christnmas week it took us almost 2 hours to get from 528 on International Drive to the parking spot in SW. They had us drive into the main lot and then out again, across the street to the overflo and we were there at 9AM. Most stadiums were being announced closed an hour before the show. They were adding shows later in the day.

We ended up not going to any shows, just spent longer watching the sea lions, rays, sight seeing in the gift shops, and viewing the shark encounter acquariums. We gave up by 3 and went home.

Was this the week leading up to Christmas, or the week between Christmas and New Year?
thanks

By her description...I would imagine it was during Christmas week. It's usually not that busy before Christmas.

Rabflmom- could you tell us what date and day of the week you were there? I am wondering if there are bad/better days to be there.
