Does anyone know if the Sesame Street characters are available for picture ops every day of the week or just on the weekends? I tried calling and couldn’t get a solid answer.

The answer is a solid....well, it depends, which might explain why you couldn't get a definite answer.

During the busier times of the year (Summer, Christmas, Halloween, Spring Break), they are generally out every day of the year, otherwise it depends on staffing levels and sometimes they are out during the week, sometimes weekends.
