In looking around for prices on the sea raycer rentals I noticed variations in prices.
Do the prices actually vary by resort, or are the different prices from different dates?

Second if you rent in Bay Lake can you take the boat into 7 Seas Lagoon?

I'm not sure about the prices but I know that you can take the boat in between the Seven Seas Lagoon and Bay Lake. The water bridge is pretty cool!

I'm not sure if the rental fee's are different per resort, but we payed about $21 for a half hour and about $30 for a full hour. I do not think that the rates change based on the season.

And yes, Seven Seas Lagoon & Bay Lake are connected so if rent it at a resort on one of them, you can go on both.

OK, here is an obscure question....

If you get a sea raycer at say the Grand Floridian, can you return it or check it in at the Contemporary?

Reason I ask, we're on an all inclusive plan...with unlimited water recreation....might be kinda fun to use the sea raycers as "transportation" from one resort to the other for things we have planned.

Thanks for any info.

No, because each resort has their own inventory of boats and you have to leave your resort ID or diver's license with the person working the marina when you rent a sea raycer.

The pricing difference is due to lake size. Boats at hotels on Bay Lake and 7 Seas Lagoon have larger motors, and obviously more performance. Boats at hotels with small lakes have smaller motors, and are designed not to plane off.

ahh
So GF, POLY, Contemp, and WL have the real boats.

If we're gonna get 4 boats for an hour I want to make sure we're not just going to putt around

It has been posted several times before...
there is no difference in boats, motors, performance, size, color, price, or anything else in a sea raycer from one marina to the next. If a boat does not plane off, either there is too much weight in it, or the motor was not set correctly for the amount of weight.

The prices at every marina...

$22.53 (plus tax) per 30 minutes
$30.05 (plus tax) per 45 minutes
$35.68 (plus tax) per 60 minutes
