sea raycers?

thanks I needed that visual!
anyone know how much they are? we will be staying at the BC next month and they look fun! Also age requirements?
Thanks Again
I knew I could get my random ? answered here

I think they're something like $45 for 30 minutes or something like that. It may actually be a bit more bang for your buck if you rent at one of the magic kingdom resorts instead. there are two huge lakes and lots to see however I've never rented around Epcot, but it is an experience not to be missed!!

They range from $30 for half an hour to $45 for an hour. They are a blast!

If I remember correctly, when I got my reservation documentation there was a coupon for 30 min free when you buy 30 min or something like that. I ended up not using it, although I think they would be a blast.

Age requirement is 12 or 13 now. My friend rents them and I get to drive the boats that avoid them LOL

Stay outta the way of the transportation boats!

I *think* the age requirement is 14 on all but Bay Lake, and 16 on Bay Lake. I might have both of those ages 2 years off (it might be 12 and 14), but I forget.

Another vote for one of the MK resorts if you decide to do this! The scenery on those two lakes is among the best on property!

thanks!
informative and helpful
will def rent from a MK resort and crossing my fingers that I get a coupon in the mail
:thumbsup2

DH and I rented them on our honeymoon way back when (they had a different name--water sprites is in my head but I don't know if that is correct) and had so much fun. I do highly recomend them:thumbsup2 (Zulemara I promise we stayed far away from your big scary boats:upsidedow)

They've also been called "Water Sprites" or "Water Mice" at different times. Since the new boats are the Sea Ray brand, the contract let them keep the model name of Sea Raycer.

No prob :thumbsup2

Fun tidbit: The Grand I yacht is custom made by Sea Ray as well. Even though it's always called The Grand I, that's not the first one. You can actually buy the boat from Disney, and they will have a new one comissioned :thumbsup2

I forget what the weight allowance is but for me 6' 2" and about 250 :scared1: It's all muscle I swear ;-) those boats suck! Go over to Sammy Duvalls and rent a Jet Ski, that is a blast!

BTW Agree with Zulemara, when I was a bus driver down there in the day I can tell you those folks who run into the riverboats and each other don't fare very well at all! Lots of Darwin Awards can be given out down there so be careful!
