Sea Raycers Boats Question

Just wondering if the little sea raycer boats are still available for rent? If so, are they still available at the Poly? And does anyone know what the costs is?

We did see them at the Poly a couple of months ago. I am not sure if it is the same company that rents at the Contemporary but I would thinks so

Even if you are on the smaller side, you won't be able to go very fast with two adults in one boat. DH and I found it laughable how slow the boat was with both of us in it. We still had fun but it took forever to get anywhere.

I think the Sea Raycers are limited to 20mph. With two people and a smooth lake, you might see something close to that. But, generally speaking, Bay Lake always has a bit of chop to it due to the ferry boat traffic. Expect 15mph to be the realistic top speed.

The Seadoo personal water craft are stuck in "learner's mode", which limits the speed to 30mph or less. And, they limit where you can go with them (which is understandable).

I haven't rented a boat at WDW since 1974 when I was 13 years old. Since then, I've handled big boats, small boats, and personal watercraft. I've owned big boats, small boats, and personal water craft. Today, if a boat can't do at least 50mph, I find it quite boring.

The 9.9 hp fl law really limits everything out can rent for a boat at wdw
Because of our size we rented a Boston whaler lats may and yeah at 9.9 hp you couldn't even get up on plane
But it did make for a nice 2 hours playing around on seven seas and bay lake
But remember when you rent over on seven seas you have to contend with the ferry boats and they do have lake patrol out that will stop the traffic for the ferry boats
