SDV Orlando 2010, August 27 - 29

I know I'm a newbie here- but someone here on the Dis designed this for me when I went on a scrapbook cruise- it could go on a pink/white/silver/black shirt- maybe we could use it somehow.

Thanks- I can't remember the name of the girl who made it for me, she is on the creative designs thread- very talented!! My sister and I both wore tiaras too- to go with our shirts on the scrapbook cruise.

I'm so excited to go!! I know it's far out- but I like to plan ahead anyway!!

Did any of you take the classes they offered. One of the scrapbook instructors from my local store taught one- she is going to teach this year too. Any pics of the projects you made??

I took classes 2 years ago. I only took the camera class last year.

Well- Buffy, Lisa, and their moms took the first one and felt they learned nothing. I took the night one and learned how to use a lot of the manual settings and what settings to use at night to take good photos. I learned a lot that was really good and I have used but it might have only been great because of the complaints that Buffy and Lisa lodged.

Hey Nikki!! Just wanted to pop in and say hi!! I will update post 1 on our list of Diva's!!

Love the T-shirt! We definitely do tees on Friday and Saturday but we can do more.

I have yet to book my trip, need to wait til income tax comes in or DH gets a bonus.

I have not registered yet- I am working on having 2 of my scrapbooking buddies to go- if not I will need a roomie. I believe I have convinced them both to come. I'm definitely coming- and I am going to try to do the Early Bird weekend!!!

Hey I have a question for all of you seasoned SDV'ers. Can we still use Magical Express to/from the airport if we book a package through SDV- or do we have to find our own way? My roomie was asking and I wasn't sure. Thanks for all of your help!!

I think you have to find your own way since you aren't technically booking a package.
You could shoot Nancy an email at Dream Events and ask her though.

If you call magical express directly you can set it up. You just have to be staying on property. I did this in October for a convention at coronado springs.

We used Magical Express the first year when we booked thru SDV.

You might not be able to do it too far in advanced as the resort doesn't have the names of the SDV guest until only a month in advance.

Thanks- I think we will definitely be going Magical Express- any money I can save for souveniers(sp?) will be good.

Do you all visit the parks or DTD during SDV- or do you pretty much just crop? I think we may do 2 parks- even for just a few hours- it would be fun to see it with just adults- as I have never been without DD7.
