SDV August 21-24 2008 WE'RE HOME!!!

Looks like I'm not going to make it. Stupid prices here are going through the roof for everything. My electric bill is jumping, cable just went up, grocery prices are getting crazy, but of course salary doesn't keep up.

I totally understand. There is no way I could spend that kind of money on a scrapbook trip. Good thing we are going as a family vacation.

I am not going to be able to go. School calendar is not out yet but it will start around that time......

Buffy, you have Mom and I right? What package are we doing? ;) Just let me know.:goodvibes

Package 2 I think. That's the Thursday - Sunday one.

I should have the $$ to book on payday, as long as I don't buy anything from my dealer, I mean, CMC. ;) :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

We could always write your order up Jan. 29th.:rotfl2:

I'm good to go, besides I have Mom's cc info, and she is out of the country!!!!Yes, see, I knew I would be needing to go to the naughty mat soon, I put myself there to keep Queenie company, but knew I would be there for one reason or another. :rotfl2:

Looking for me? You'll find me on the naughty mat!

I can book anytime- I just need to know how we are dividing up.

what are ya'll thinking for dinner Sat night? Our 180 days are coming up soon so we need to start planning.

I was thinking a resort so those who are not scrapping but are coming down at the same time wouldn't waste a park ticket just for dinner.
I think Whispering Canyon would be fun but I think it's pretty loud. I've never actually eaten there though.

Suggestions welcome!

WCC is pretty loud, but a lot of fun. Let's face it, a group of ladies our size is going to be loud wherever we go. :lmao:

Another good option is Cape May Cafe. Good food, right at the Beach Club so we wouldn't have to worry too much about traveling. (Although I'm sure some of us will have cars and we can carpool.) It's not as fun as WCC is.

One more suggestion is Ohana. Great food, great atmosphere. Loud, but not too loud.

I have to find out whether or not my roommate is going to book, if not, I'll be in the roommate pool---I'll find out this week.

I'm not doing SDV, but I will be staying at WL that week. Please keep me in the loop on the Saturday dinner plans....I'd love to meet you all! I can make ADRs on Feb 17, and I am planning to leave Saturday night open so I'm available. DH doesn't really know that yet, but I have time to work on him:).

I like the idea of Cape May or Ohana's.

Cape May because it will be close, I've never eaten there, it would be a good chance to do so.

Ohana's is good and can accomodate a large crowd easily.

They both cost the same, $24.99 per Adult.

The Cape May would have a great variety for those who may be picky eaters. Come on, admit it. If you were a picky eater as child, you stayed one. :lmao:

But if we timed 'Ohana right, we could watch Wishes.

Either would be fine with me. I enjoy O'Hana's but have never eaten at Cape May and would really love to try that since DH doesn't like fish and I will never be able to drag him there.

Oh, we have to help you out.

I vote Cape May.

so far it looks like Cape May is the more popular place. Mom and I ate there once and it was good.
Today is payday so I will probably be booking this afternoon. I will let you know after the bills are paid.

I just wanted to add, I don't eat fish in any way, shape or form and I love Cape May. So anyone who doesn't like fish---don't worry!

I'd like to do the Cape May dinner also. My DH doesn't "do" seafood either, so we've never been there. Sure would be convenient, too!

Is it too late to add me to the ADR?

I haven't done the ADR yet since I have no idea who is going. We need to start setting up roomies pretty quick so I can get an idea of a number to call with.
