SDMT rope drop question

Some friends are planning a last minute trip and were unable to get a fast pass for SDMT. They are going during a busy time where the park opens at 8am (no extra magic hour). With the new procedure at park opening, where should they stand at 7:55am so they are in a good position to head right to SDMT? Do they go to the Tomorrowland path? TIA!

Right of the castle over that bridge and past the teacups. Walking through the castle is longer and walking over the main Tomorrowland bridge is even further
