Even those not listed on your reservation?
From the first page:
How do I get my 60 day resort guest window to umbrella over non-resort-guest profiles on my MDE? I want to ride both Frozen Ever After and Soarin'.
The 60 day booking window can umbrella out from the guests on the resort reservation to other ticketed profiles (either real or phantoms) who are without a resort reservation. To do this, when you make your FP choices, you must toggle at least one person from the resort reservation in the group with profiles who are not on the resort reservation. (The system won't offer you choices at 60 days for a group of only non-resort guests.)
Once you've toggled a resort guest along with any ticketed phantoms, you'll be offered choices up to 60 days out. If the resort guest you've toggled already has a set of FP, you'll be prompted to remove that resort guest from the booking group. Go ahead and click on "remove." Your phantoms will still be permitted to proceed with the 60 day window. Really.
This is actually the easiest way to go about booking for the non-resort-guests. First, book FP for resort guests (who will be in the park). Then book for the non-resort guests. Just toggle one resort guest with that group (even though you've already made that person's FP), then click "remove" when prompted. This way, you don't have to rearrange any FP. (If you've not yet booked for the real guest, you can make FP along with the non-guests -- then you go back and modify that FP to what you really want.)
Okay, so I have prebooked my 4th, 5th, and 6th FP on a ticketed profile for a person (or phantom) who won't really be in the parks. Now what?
So you're saying that your good friend or family member has been added as a friend on your MDE and that person has a valid ticket or AP. You're saying that this person will not be along on your upcoming trip. You will prebook FP for them, intending to use those FP yourself. You won't use their ticket for FP entrance. You'll just reassign their donated FP to your profile and use your own valid ticket for FP entrance. This should be perfectly legal, because the ticket you use to enter the FP queue will be the same ticket you used to enter the park, which is what Disney is requesting you do.
You just have to use all three of your FP before you can transfer one of the donor FP. And you can only transfer the donor FP one at a time. So it's a bit of a dance. But well worth it for some.
I don't quite get this umbrella thing.
So let's say you have Bob, Sue, Timmy, and Kimmie on the resort reservation. On the same MDE, you have four real grandparents with APs who won't be coming on this trip. Or maybe you have set up ticketed phantoms Mickey, Minnie, Buzz, and Belle. The grandparents (or Mickey and friends) will donate their FP to you (after you've used your own prebooked FP) - as you transfer them to your own profile, one at a time.
Click to select new FP for the four real guests, Bob, Sue, Timmy, and Kimmie. That's done. Next, select new FP for the grandparents (or Mickey, Minnie, Buzz, and Belle) --
and also Bob. (Without Bob or one of the other resort guests, Mickey & Co. can only get FP at 30 days, not 60 for the non-resort-guests.) You'll get an error message saying that Bob already has FP for that day. So click on "remove" - the system will allow you to proceed with the other four with the 60 day window (without Bob). Remember you can modify those FP without a resort guest needing to be toggled as part of the FP group. Alternatively (and less efficiently), you can book FP for the donor guests first by including Bob in their FP group. So you prebook FP for that group of five people. Once that's done, go back in and modify Bob's FP. The FP for the four donor guests won't be affected.
