Fast pass day tomorrow. DHS is day 60+4
This is for a party of 4 which includes a 3 year old and special needs 6 year old
Their first (and maybe only) trip to Disney and want to do both rides
Which one should they try to get FP versus which one for stand by?
Thank you

I guess I would say to FP MMRR because it will appeal to both kids. Because the parks closed shortly after it opened, it's still a VERY new ride. I'd do SDD either at Rope Drop (which is what everyone will do, but ... the temperature will be lower than mid-day, for sure. If Rope Drop doesn't work for your family, I'd do it at night when most others are at Fantasmic! The line will still be longish, but the temps (or the direct sun) will be far less. All this advice would serve a perfect world, but ....I think we've got the message that it surely is not a perfect world. You may need to switch those two just because one may be available and one may not. :confused3:confused3 I hope you and your family have a terrific trip!

Moot point. Neither SDD or MMRR available at 60+4 days

Were you on this morning right at 7am? Assuming I have the right day which would be July 2. According to The Dibb Fastpass+ listing HS had availability this morning for Tier 1 before being sold out.

Yep! There was a little computer lag but wasn’t even a minute past.
I started with the DHS day since those were the hardest FP that we wanted. But both were gone
I’ll keep checking back

I'm not going to lie... when TSL opened up, I had no intentions of going for a few months after. But after literally just messing around with FPs, I actually scored some for SDD for myself and my best friend. This was a Monday, we bought plane tickets that morning and flew out Tuesday afternoon because we were so excited. I know it sounds crazy, but our jobs are pretty flexible with stuff like that.

My point is... JUST KEEP HITTING THAT REFRESH BUTTON. You never know what's going to happen. She scored FPs for us on FoP the morning we were heading over to AK. Even if you can't get anything right now, you can always check back. People release/change their plans all the time. Who knows, you might get lucky!!

We enjoyed SDD but have yet to ride MMRR so I would probably pick the later.

On our last trip, we went to ride SDD just before the fireworks started and there was almost no wait. Bonus--the fireworks began while we were on the ride which was so much fun! G

Are you familiar with DAS pass? Depending on your child’s special needs, you may find that tool very useful if waiting in long queues is not feasible for your family. You’ll still “wait” but via a virtual queue where you’ll be given a return time that matches the current standby wait time, so you can wander, get a snack or explore instead of being restricted in line.

Also, if your younger child isn’t tall enough for SDD then be sure to inquire about rider switch.
Combining these with FP can be mentally tricky to figure out timing, but potentially saves a lot of meltdowns.

Thank you for the information. Hadn’t considered DAS. DD 6 year old has Klippel-Trenuanay Syndrome. She also has significant speech delay. But truthfully, I think she is as capable (or as incapable) as a toddler would be waiting in line.....

For the DAS you will need to go to GR and you or someone in your group will need to explain the concerns for waiting Inline the DX dose not matter if it is mobility related like can not walk long can not stand for long then the DAS is not needed for those she can get a stroller as a wheelchair tag. Basically I would go to GR about any concerns you have about the park and seeing if they can help you

We can wait in line. But thanks!

Ok just making sure you know your option I have no clue and the DX you gave so I did not know how or if it had an impact on her waiting in line if any. Sound like waiting in line is like any other kid her age

I appreciate the information. DD has some mobility issues but ultimately is as capable as her 3 year old brother to wait in a line. Which admittedly is probably quite poor!
