We're off next Saturday for our summer trip :woohoo: so in full planning mode and ticking things off the list.
I'm travelling with two teens (16) so want to eat mainly in counter service. Does anyone who has been recently know what time the majority of CS close in the evening; Colonal Hathis, Cowboy Cookout, Pinnochio etc
We're also going to BBWWS for the first time with AP 50% off deal so am really looking forward to this. We'll probably do Annettes and we are going into Paris :cheer2: for the first time in ten visits!

Any summer time tips gratefully received as we usually do winter trips :beach:

I can't help with your summer question, but want to join you for your SDD

:cheer2::cool1::cheer2::cool1:

I hope you have a brilliant trip!

How exciting :)

My tips for summer would definitely be to take it easy. You've been many times before, so don't go rushing around - plan fast pass if you can for the likes of BTM etc. If you want to do Crush at the Studios, go there for about 9.15, gates open around 9.30 and the rides usually start before 10, otherwise you'll be queuing for hours.

I see you're staying at Sequioa, so if it's hot, go out early and then back to the hotel for a swim/rest in the afternoon. It can get very, very hot at DLP and it can really exhaust you.

Hope you have a fab time :cool1::dance3:

Thanks everyone :thumbsup2 Anyone any idea when the CS restaurants might close ? :confused3

I'm afraid I can't answer your question but I plan to pop into City Hall when we arrive to find out which ones might be closed and when.

Have a great trip! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

I know the CS places were still open after the parade, I think they closed around 8-9pm, not certain though.

I agree with getting to the Studios early to go on Crush, it's the best time to do it as the queues are huge later in the day. Also it's quieter early on in the morning and in the evening so we often have a break in the afternoon.

Have a great trip!

Thanks :thumbsup2 that's really helpful. We'll probably try and eat just before or at the end of the parade.
Has anyone been to Sequoia when the outdoor pool is open? The forecast is looking good so far so hoping to try it. :beach:

The counter service you mention close at 7pm. Very few stay open, but Casey's and Victorias are definitely open late.
Its crazy busy so eat before the parade - you will be there forever trying to order after, but also be warned free drinks are issued at Hakuna Matata between 3-6.30 and at others too.......just be prepared!

Thanks! that's really useful to know. Will just need to be prepared. :thumbsup2 Almost packed and sorted. Driving up to Edinburgh for flight since Easyjet stopped Newcastle route so we have an early start in the morning. Hoping to be at Sequoia Lodge by 5. Weather forecast not looking too great over weekend so not sure what to take :confused3 I expect it will still be warm though. Getting excited now :cool1:
