Any pics of the club on CCay? is it in the sun, shade, how is access limited so the kids don't wander off, and did your kids like it?

I am thinking of trying to hit the adult beach with DH after lunch on CC day, and I am not sure unfamiliar surroundings will work. Any experience wuth that?

tks!

Scuttles Cove is roped off so the kids do not wander off. You have to sign in the kids just like on the ship. Also the CMs do not take them to the water, therefore I would plan also some family time at the family beach. Here is a picture of the whale dig at Monstro Point.

You can definitely drop the kids at Scuttles and head to Serenity Bay. You sign them in and it is secured just like the club/lab on the ship. THey'll need t-shirts and shoes. Be sure to re-apply sun screen just before you drop them off. CMs are not allowed to apply any.

They will do "water play" in the Scuttle's area, but no swimming.

We dropped our kids off for a bit, but there wasn't much shade there, so we didn't leave them very long. DH and I rode the tram down to Serenity Bay and had a look around. There weren't any umbrellas available, so we headed back, grabbed the kids and went back to the family beach.

So, if you're going to drop them off, I second the suggestion to reapply sunscreen and put their tshirts on them before leaving.

tks. Too bad it is not very shady, I think we will probably skip Serenity bay then. DD is like me, we need shade to stay on the beach. Unless the activity is really up her alley...but she is more into crafts and characters than sand digging!
