Hello all! My husband is an avid SCUBA diver and asked me to post this. We will be on the Aug 26, 2018, sailing for Norway. DCL does not have any excursions for diving and he was wondering if anyone has ever some diving on their own? Any information is greatly appreciated!

hubby is either very brave diver or just plain nuts

I can not imagine diving up there without a dry suit ......

I watched divers going under my ship for maintenance in Kodiak .... altho an avid diver I was NEVER tempted to grab a tank and jump in! If the water is below 85f I won't get in my pool . . . . .

He is both! We live in NJ and he dives year round here, mainly in a dry suit. Personally, I don't get it.....but to each his own. Lol. I do not dive but I am like you and won't go in the pool unless 85-90 but I did do the snorkeling excursion in Alaska and it was fantastic!

OK ... from a technical dive side

Would he pack his dry suit?

cuz I can hardly imagine using a rented dry suit .... I'm sure it is done, but not by me!!!!

I've been diving since 1973 and the idea of a quick dive in Norway does NOT interest me.

BUT I AM SURE

if you GOOGLE diving and the port you'll get something if SOMETHING exists
