Does anybody know if it would be a problem to go Scuba diving one day and doing the parks the next day?::confused3
We're planning on going Scuba diving about 60 feet down and we want to do the parks the rest of the week.:cool1:

I think you posted your question on the wrong board. This is Transportation; you will probably get more replies if you post on the Theme Park Strategies and Planning Board.

I doubt there would be a problem since everything you're doing at WDW is at approximately sea level. If you're going to 60' for a couple of dives, you'll surely be off-gassed by the time you hit the parks the next day.

Standard disclaimers apply;
  • I am not a doctor nor do I play one on TV
  • I am not a lawyer nor do I play one on TV
  • Discontinue use if rash develops
  • Void where prohibited

I've been an active diver for 40 years and I can't think of a single reason why amusement rides @ WDW would be contraindicated after diving inside of 'table' limits. As PP said, you'll be near sea level ... Space Mt ain't THAT high!

IF IN DOUBT ..... contact DAN .... are you a member?

DAN's medical information and emergency assistance services exist to serve the diving community. Staffed by medically trained diving professionals, our physicians, paramedics and emergency medical technicians are here to provide medical information, referrals and evacuation assistance. In addition, our members benefit from the medical support provided by diving and hyperbaric physicians at the University of California at San Diego and the University of Pennsylvania.

In an emergency situation, please call 911 or your local emergency services provider number. If you think you might be experiencing decompression illness, please call the 24-hour DAN Emergency Hotline at +1-919-684-9111.

btw as a diver visiting WDW ... did you know you can dive the big tank in EPCOT?

dd and I doing this ...

As this has nothing to do with Transportation, I'm going to close it down. No offense is meant, just not the right forum.
